Macklemore Returns To Australia In February Next Year

Not even done singing praises for Macklemore's performance of the equality song "Same Love" at the NRL Grand Finals, Australian fans already have a slew of dates to look forward to from the multi-Grammy Award-winning rapper. Macklemore will return to our shores in February next year in support of his second solo studio album, 'Gemini' which was released last September.

He will first be performing at the Brisbane Riverstage, then will make his way to Sydney's Hordern Pavilion. His last stop will be at the Festival Hall in Melbourne. The tour will see him push the heat to its highest level just before summer ends, with hits from 'Gemini' including the single "Glorious".

The rapper had his career beginnings in 2000 with the independently-released mixtape 'Open Your Eyes'. He burst into mainstream success, however, after joining force with long-time collaborator, Ryan Lewis. They formed Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in 2009 and won three Grammy Awards including "Best New Artist", "Best Rap Performance" for their single "Thrift Shop" and "Best Rap Album" for their 2012 debut album, 'The Heist'. The duo are currently on hiatus since June.

Grab your tickets and don't miss Macklemore performing live and solo this 2018!
