Folk Duo Radnor & Lee To Tour Oz East Coast This May

Radnor & Lee—the musical project of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star Josh Radnor and Sydney musician Ben Lee—will be heading down Australia for a three-day east coast tour. Fans are sure to line up at the "doorsteps" of Brisbane's Triffid, Melbourne's Athenaeum Theatre and Sydney's Metro Theatre this May as they perform hits from their debut album which was released last year.

"The musical melding of Josh Radnor and our very own Ben Lee, Radnor & Lee’s music, is unexpectedly earnest considering both Lee and Radnor’s history with comedy. Largely acoustic and with a keen focus on melody and lyrics, their album has a timeless honesty and directness, somewhat obscuring the depth and complexity of the lyrics that each listen reveals." - The Music

Ben Lee has been in the music business for over twenty years now. He was a member of Australian alt-rock band Noise Addict. After the band split up, he carved a solo career, releasing seven albums. Josh Radnor played the role of Ted Mosby, one of the main characters in the Emmy Award-winning sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’ where the duo has first met, 12–13 years ago. They stayed friends, sharing the goal of writing a song together.

“We stayed friends and we were friends for about a decade before we decided to write a song together. We’d been talking about it, and then two and a half years ago we decided to write a song together and it went really well. We decided to write another one, then we said ‘let’s make a record’, then before we knew it we’re here talking to you guys," said Josh in an interview in The Today Show.
