Jim Jefferies Brings 'The Night Talker Tour' To Australia This December

Australian stand-up comedian and actor Jim Jefferies is bringing his all new arena tour to Australia this December. 'The Night Talker Tour' will kick off at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, then will head its way to Perth's RAC Arena, Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre and Brisbane Entertainment Centre. A hilarous performance will follow at the International Convention Centre in Sydney before concluding at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena.

"The ultimate rock star...insanely entertaining and incessantly unremorseful." - Beat Magazine

"Brutally honest humour." - The Evening Standard (UK)

"An hour of comedy that increasingly finds a beautiful balance between the jagged and the shrewd, the vicious and the vulnerable." - The Times (UK)

Throughout Jim's almost 20-year career, he has delivered seven monumental comedy specials and has become one of the biggest ticket‐selling stand‐up comedians on the planet. His 2016 dates sold over 50,000 tickets across nine cities in Australia alone.

The self-described atheist sells out stadiums and iconic venues across the globe, with hilarious routines covering subjects from alcoholism, political satire, celebrities to gun control, religion, and sex. Initially announced hot off the heels of his 2017 smash hit Netflix special 'Freedumb', 'The Night Talker Tour' has taken LA-based Jim across the USA and Canada. The prolific comic’s most recent hit is the brutally hilarious 'This Is Me Now', filmed at London’s iconic Eventim Apollo Theatre (formerly the Hammersmith Apollo) in early 2018, and dropped on Netflix globally in July to resounding critical acclaim.

The tireless wordsmith famously has an hour-plus of new material every time he hits the road, and the sheer expectant energy from a Jim Jefferies audience is always electric. A smash hit in the USA, Jim has hosted Comedy Central’s 'The Jim Jefferies Show' since 2017, the initial 10-episode run renewed for a further 20 episodes before the first season had even wrapped. His acclaimed 2013 sitcom 'Legit' (written, directed by and starring Jim) aired for two seasons to a diehard fanbase.

"Fearless, raw, and biting. If Hemingway had a drinking buddy, it would be Jim." - Forbes (USA)

"In-your-face social commentary that has pricked up audiences’ ears for nearly a decade." - Triangle Arts & Entertainment (USA)

"His fertile and twisted imagination not just crosses a line but gleefully barrels past it, a vodka pineapple in one hand, a middle finger flailing with the other...utterly brilliant." - New Times Palm Beach (USA)

Jim has a background in musical theatre, ballet and classical music. He was granted scholarships from the Sydney Opera House and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) but throat nodules forced him to prematurely give up his burgeoning singing career. In 2007, he was punched by a stage-invading heckler during a set at the Manchester Comedy Store. The incident was captured on the venue's in-house video, and the footage became one of YouTube's earliest viral videos—quickly accruing almost two million views. Suddenly, everyone wanted to see Jim Jefferies live!

Don't miss out on what will be nights of raw, high-quality comedy with Jim Jefferies!
