Bryan Ferry Returns To Australia In February and March Next Year

One of Britain's most iconic and sophisticated names, Bryan Ferry, is hitting Aussie roads in February and March 2019. The acclaimed solo artist and leader of Roxy Music returns to Australia as part of his extensive world tour. He will be performing first at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne then will make his way to the International Convention Centre in Sydney.

He'll also headline three outdoor A Day On The Green shows, performing at the Kings Park & Botanic Garden in Perth, Rochford Wines in Yarra Valley and Sirromet Winery in Brisbane with special guests in a reunion that's been 30 years in the making: Melbourne funk/pop band I’m Talking, plus Models and Stephen Cummings who recently replaced Died Pretty after the latter cancelled all their upcoming shows due to ill health.

After the AU dates, he will head down to NZ for shows at the TSB Arena in Wellington and Spark Arena in Auckland.

'Let's Stick Together', 'Love Is The Drug', 'Slave To Love', 'Avalon', 'More Than This', 'Jealous Guy', 'Don’t Stop The Dance'—Bryan Ferry possesses the rare distinction of being regarded as both classic and timelessly contemporary, an accomplishment achieved by both his recordings with Roxy Music and the range and intensity of his solo albums.

Ferry's world tour will travel from South Africa to Switzerland next year, with a tour-end performance at the legendary Royal Albert Hall in London in June. But before then, it’s Australia and New Zealand's turn—eight years since the singer was last on our shores.

"I'm very excited about performing with I'm Talking again after so many years," says singer Kate Ceberano, performing with I'm Talking alongside original members Robert Goodge, Barbara Hogarth, Stephen Charlesworth and singer Zan Abeyratne. "The music still sounds so great—fans are gonna love it!"

Since the release of Roxy Music's seminal, self-titled debut back in 1972, Bryan Ferry has been internationally acclaimed as one of the most innovative and stylish artists in pop and rock music. Wildly regarded as the embodiment of the glamorous and romantic worlds evoked by his songs, Ferry is also lauded as an icon of sartorial and personal cool. A former student of Fine Art, and as involved in the visual aspects of his work as he is in the composition and performance of the music, Ferry has conceived and directed some of the most original, controversial and critically applauded album sleeve artwork of the last four decades.

With eight studio albums to his name, including multiple Platinum, Gold and Silver certifications across the globe, February 2018 saw the release of a deluxe 45th anniversary edition of Roxy Music’s iconic self-titled debut album, remastered at Abbey Road Studios.

With a career that spans decades, including elegant covers, orchestral works, instrumentals and phenomenally successful chart singles, Bryan Ferry is an act not to be missed. Get your tickets now!
