Dylan Moran Heads Back Down Under This October Through To December With New Show 'Dr Cosmos'

Legendary Irish comedian, actor, writer and artist Dylan Moran is heading back to Australia with brand new show 'Dr Cosmos'. Over a span of three months, the 'Dr Cosmos' tour will see Moran once again offering his unique take on love, politics, misery and the everyday absurdities of life, all served with poetical panache.

October will see him launching the massive tour at the Wollongong Town Hall and performing at Canberra's Royal Theatre and Sydney Opera House. November dates include shows at The Arts Centre Melbourne, Launceston's Princess Theatre and Wrest Point Entertainment Centre in Hobart, Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide, Riverside Theatre in Perth, Darwin Entertainment Centre, Cairns Convention Centre, The Star Gold Coast and Civic Theatre Newcastle. The final show will be held at the QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane come December. Before the AU dates, Dylan will also be performing in New Zealand, with shows at Wellington's Michael Fowler Centre, Christchurch Town Hall, Dunedin Town Hall, Auckland's ASB Theatre and Hamilton's Claudelands Arena.

Dylan Moran made history in 1996 at the Edinburgh Fringe after becoming the youngest ever winner of the Perrier Award. He went on to co-write and star in 'Black Books' which won two BAFTAs. Other notable screen roles include 'Notting Hill', 'Calvary', 'Shaun of the Dead' and Run 'Fatboy Run'. Moran has extensively toured the world many times, bringing versions of his show to venues as far afield as Kazakhstan, Ukraine and across the US. His last tour 'Off the Hook' took in 149 dates worldwide.

"Trumping Shakespeare, he reduces life to four ages: "Child, failure, old and dead". Faced with one-liners as killing as that the world suddenly seems a better place." - The Telegraph

"High-octane riffs from Irish master of grumpiness…spellbinding." - Evening Standard

"In his heightened ideas and vocabulary, Moran compulsively swerves clichés as he builds up layers of laughs…funny and fascinating, and utterly deserving of his place in the modern classics." - The Times

Grab your tickets and let Dylan Moran's 'Dr Cosmos' tour wash all the loneliness away this October through to December!
