Steve Hackett Returns To Australia Next Year May For 'Genesis Revisited 2020' Tour

UPDATE: Postponed to May 2021

English singer-songwriter and ex-Genesis member Steve Hackett will be hitting Aussie roads next year May as part of his 'Genesis Revisited 2020' tour. He will launch the tour at Perth's Astor Theatre, then will stop by Adelaide's The Gov and Melbourne's Palais Theatre before heading to Sydney's Enmore Theatre. The final show will be held at The Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane. Following the AU dates, the rock icon will fly to New Zealand for a one-off show at the Auckland Town Hall.

The tour will see Steve performing Genesis' 'Selling England By The Pound' album in full—47 years after it's release—as well as songs from his critically acclaimed solo album 'Spectral Mornings' in lieu of its 40th anniversary. If that's not enough, he is also set to sample singles from his stunning new album 'At The Edge Of Light'. What a treat!

"I'm excited to bring my 'Genesis Revisited' show back to Australia. It was fantastic to play there last time and to visit that amazing country. This time will be a special show, including the whole of Genesis album 'Selling England By The Pound', celebrating my solo album 'Spectral Mornings'' 40th anniversary, plus more! I can't wait!" said Steve of the tour.

As the powerhouse guitarist for Genesis, one of the most important progressive rock bands ever, Steve has been a guiding influence for musicians and guitarists for over 40 years now. He has recorded seven albums with the band as well as released 30 albums as a solo artist. In 2010, he was inducted into the Rock Hall Of Fame—a recognition that so befits his incredible musicianship and talent.
