Dune Rats Announce September 'Crowd Smurfing' Tour Dates

In support of their recently released single 'Rubber Arms', Brisbane rockers Dune Rats will be hitting national roads this September. With special guests West Thebarton and Miss June in tow, the 'Crowd Smurfing' tour will kick off at Melbourne's The Croxton, then will head its way to Sydney's Metro Theatre before capping off at Brisbane's Triffid. The headline shows are on top of their set at the now sold out Spilt Milk Festival happening at Commonwealth Park in Canberra and Victoria Park in Ballarat this November.

Premiered by triple j on Goodnights with Bridget Hustwaite, 'Rubber Arm' sees the band's quintessential stoner pop garage sound morph with 90's fuzz stylings. Where first single 'No Plans' is about "throwing three sh*ts at the wind and seeing what sticks," 'Rubber Arm' is about getting steered in the best direction and never missing out. The band say: "It's like going to the pub for one drink and ending up in Vegas with your undies on your head and a fresh Nickelback tattoo. It's always better to let your rubber arm bend!"

'Rubber Arm' and 'No Plans' are the first taste of fresh music from Dune Rats since their breakthrough 2017 record 'The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit'. The album catapulted the band to the next level—dominating the ARIA Charts and triple j's Hottest 100 in 2016 and 2017, receiving ARIA and APRA nominations and taking their frenetic live show on a sold out headline tour and headline performances at Splendour In The Grass, Falls, Laneway Festival, Spilt Milk and more.

Grab your tickets quick and don't sleep on your chance to catch Dune Rats rocking the stage, live!
