Laura Imbruglia and The Smallgoods Join Forces For Two Shows This September

Indie friends Laura Imbruglia and The Smallgoods are teaming up this September for a pair of Victoria shows. They will be performing at The Evelyn Hotel in Fitzroy then will head to The Eastern Station Hotel in Ballarat in support of their single releases. The co-headline gigs come right after Laura slays her set at Sounds Like Community Radio and Bigsound 2019 which are both happening in Brisbane.

Laura and her band The Bin Chickens have been hot on the tour trail this year, promoting her latest album 'Scared Of You' and landing supports with The Saboteurs and Teenage Fanclub, along with a coveted slot at Boogie Fest back in April. The September shows will see Laura and band officially launching the new single off the album called 'Give Boys Pink Toys'.

The Smallgoods, on the other hand, are back from the dead after a seven-year hiatus which ended with the release of new single 'Satellite' last April. Since then, they have hit their stride with a number of harmony-laden shows, including Boogie Festival, and dropped a second single 'Hurry Up & Slow Down' in July. The co-headline gigs mark the precursor to the release of their long-awaited fourth album 'Lost In The Woods' which will be their first fully self-produced release.

Warming up the show at the Melbourne show will be indie dream-pop band Tender Buttons. The band will be showcasing their shoegaze guitars, synths and bittersweet pop melodies that endear them to audiences.
