Of Monsters and Men Announce AU 'Fever Dream' Tour Dates

Multi-platinum indie folk/pop band Of Monsters and Men are heading back to Australia next year January with two special headline shows in support of their third studio album 'Fever Dream'. The band will bring their otherworldly live show to Sydney's Enmore Theatre and Melbourne's Festival Hall after killing their set at Falls Festival 2019–20.

The first Icelandic band to reach one billion streams on Spotify, Of Monsters and Men are an unstoppable global force of indie-pop and stadium folk. Their latest album 'Fever Dream', which was just released in July, features giant tracks including 'Alligator', the empowering anthem that raced to No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Charts.

"A jubilant slice of roaring electronic rock." - NME

"There's a confidence mixed with fragility, like a band born again." - The Line of Best Fit

Of Monsters and Men broke into the scene in 2011 with debut album 'My Head Is an Animal' which spawned the global smash single 'Little Talks'. They continue to stun audiences with their unique live show which famously and whimsically adds trumpet, accordion, trombone, and more to the classic band set up—all tied together with powerful dual female-male lead vocals.

"Their lyrics are profound and their sound mighty, OMAM engulf their audience and hold them in their grip until well after the show is over." - Vulture Hound

They've also written anthemic soundtracks for movies 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire', 'The Walking Dead', and 'Jessica Jones'. 'Little Talks' was recorded in Simlish for 'The Sims' and the band guest starred as stage musicians in Season 6 of 'Game of Thrones'.

The band have played sold out shows worldwide, buzzing sets at Coachella, Glastonbury, Laneway Festival. On TV, they have performed on 'SNL', 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon', and 'Jimmy Kimmel'.

Of Monsters and Men are sure to make the summer even hotter with their live shows next year so don't miss out!
