Synthony adds to Australian tour with Perth and Sydney arena shows

After two sold-out shows in Melbourne and Brisbane, Synthony is expanding its Australian 2021 Tour with Perth and Sydney added to the schedule.

The hugely successful show both here and in its native New Zealand, is the ultimate celebration of the last 30 years of dance music. Synthony is a unique collaboration between Orchestra, DJs, live vocalists and feature musicians.

The super-charged and energetic Synthony will showcase the biggest dance anthems from icons such as: Avicii, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Fisher and Faithless to name just a few. The popular show will be backed with the full might of a 60+ piece Orchestra with the Perth Symphony Orchestra and The Metropolitan Orchestra in Sydney, along with star Conductor: Sarah-Grace Williams. The show is stacked with iconic stars from across the Australian music spectrum playing their global hits including: Miss Connie (Sneaky Sound System), Ilan Kidron (The Potbelleez), Emily Williams, Ella Monnery, Greg Gould, Mobin Master, Andy Van (Madison Avenue /Vicious Records) and Mark Dynamix.

With an epic backdrop of visuals, lasers, and a state-of-the-art sound system, it’s a magical, uplifting, hands-in-the-air dance party like no other. An energetic show from the outset, this is not an orchestra as you know it. This celebration of dance music is more than just a show, it takes the audience on a nostalgic journey back through their most memorable dance music experiences. Track after track, fans are taken down memory lane and celebrate dance music that is embedded into their subconscious.

Synthony's New Zealand shows since 2017 have been attended by ‘Sold Out’ audiences, as well as its debut into Australia in Brisbane, 2019. After successful shows across New Zealand and the East Coast of Australia, the orchestral extravaganza will be taking the show indoors for an Arena spectacular at: Perth’s RAC Arena on Friday 3rd September and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Friday 8th October.

With fans raving about the Melbourne and Brisbane shows with comments like: “I want to live inside this concert for the rest of my life” and “We are still in awe. From the moment the orchestra kicked in, right to the very end, my body was covered in goosebumps. This was the best performance I’ve ever seen with so much incredible talent.”

It’s no secret that 2020 has been a tumultuous rollercoaster for event promoters. Duco Events Promoter Rachael Carroll says she’s incredibly excited to be bringing this show to multiple Australian cities, giving fans a great night out, under covid safe conditions, after a tough year. The Synthony show has only been possible with support from the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund – an Australian Government initiative.

“We certainly would not be putting on this show without the RISE funding support from the Australian Government which has helped us take this show across Australia. They have given us the confidence to invest, take risk and put on events that will see some artists and suppliers secure their first job and income after a very long break in event activity” said Carroll.

Eager dance music fans in Western Australian and New South Wales will have one hand in the air and one hand on the mouse hovering over the ‘Buy Tickets’ button as the tickets are released on Thursday 17th June at 10am AEST and AWST, with both shows for ‘One Night Only’ and restricted numbers, fans will need to get in quick to secure their spot. Guests are urged to pre-register for the on-sale announcement at the Synthony website.
