Sunset Sounds announce classic Aussie line-up

After an unprecedented write off for gigs and festivals in 2020 and 2021, don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the return of live music at Sunset Sounds with a jam-packed day brimming with Aussie music royalty performing live at the idyllic Rochford Wines on Saturday 26 February 2022. This summer festival of classics boasts an all-star lineup featuring Daryl Braithwaite, Ian Moss, Kate Ceberano, Russell Morris, The Black Sorrows, Richard Clapton, Ross Wilson, Thirsty Merc, Chocolate Starfish, Jack Jones and The Chantoozies, and the day will be fittingly topped off with a sunset performance by ABBA tribute act, Bjorn Again.

1 Day, 12 Acts, 60 Massive Hits.

Ready and waiting to hit the stage, headliner Daryl Braithwaite enthuses, “It is so thrilling to once again - after what seems like an eternity - share a stage at The Rochford Wines Sunset Sounds concert with Ian Moss, Kate Ceberano, The Black Sorrows, Russell Morris, Thirsty Merc and more. It is going to be so good.”

Kate Ceberano adds, “What an incredible feeling to bust outta the Covid gates with this mega lineup! I can’t wait to sing my proverbial ass off and be out in the sunshine amongst people and my peers. See ya soon!”

“Since establishing Sunset Sounds three years ago and selling out multiple shows in QLD and NSW, we are beyond excited to blow those Covid blues away, bringing a celebration of non-stop hits with a who’s who of classic Aussie rock (with a touch of ABBA) to the iconic Yarra Valley,” beams Empire Touring’s Director and certified vibe creator, Marc Christowski.

Sunset Sounds will be held with a commitment to a COVID Safe environment. Festival organisers will work closely with and comply with all requirements of the public health authorities. If the show is required to be postponed, a postponement date will be announced and punters will be eligible for a full refund if they are unable to make the new date.
