Thirsty Merc Australian Tour. Thirsty Merc will be performing in Melbourne - Southbank, Sunshine Coast - Kings Beach, Melbourne, Albury, Mulwala, Adelaide, Sydney, Kincumber, Sydney - Dee Why, Shellharbour City Centre, Newcastle, Lismore, Grafton, Sydney- Camden, Dubbo, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Perth, Yallingup, Perth - Midland, Perth and Ravenswood.

Thirsty Merc mark a 10-year milestone since the release of their self-titled double platinum debut LP with the announcement of their Acoustic Anniversary Album and national tour. Dubbed AAA the album is a collection of acoustic interpretations of fan favourites including ‘20 Good Reasons’, ‘In The Summertime’, ‘Someday Someday’, and ‘Mousetrap Heart’.

These new recordings showcase the band’s exemplary level of musicianship and hearing these well-known with acoustic production highlights the world-class song writing ability of Rai Thistlethwayte. AAA will be on sale from Friday 5th September through MGM Distribution. Frontman Rai Thistlethwayte says, “I can't believe it's been 10 years since we released our debut! We want to say a really big thanks to our fans – they’ve been amazing.

This Merc-tober we’ll play this album live on tour and throw in a few newbies too.” The band will also be taking this album to the road with the AAA Tour this October and November.
