A Day To Remember - Bad Vibes Tour
Not even long ago after they tore up Australian arenas with their epic Big Ass Tour, which added to the list of the biggest heavy tours to ever hit the country, American Rock group A Day to Remember, returns this December off the back of their forthcoming album, Bad Vibrations.
The band will shake the ground in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The Florida natives have been busy finalising their new record, headlining their own Self Help Festival in California, garnering more than eight million streams of their “Paranoia” single and touring North America as direct support for Blink 182. They recorded the album with producers Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX).
Rolling Stone called them “An Artist You Need To Know” 'cause why not? Over the past several years, each of A Day To Remember’s releases has snatched up No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Rock, Indie and/or Alternative Charts, they’ve sold in excess of a million units, racked up more than 400 million Spotify streams and 500 million YouTube views, garnered two gold-selling albums and singles (and one silver album in the UK) and sold out entire continental tours, amassing a global fanbase.
Joining A Day to Remember (vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Kevin Skaff and Neil Westfall, bassist Joshua Woodard and drummer Alex Shelnutt) as special guests will be US Metalcore outfit, Issues. They have replaced Of Mice and Men, who withdrew from their touring commitments due to ongoing health issues with vocalist Austin Carlisle. Issues have had a huge 2016, thanks to the release of their highly regarded 2nd album ‘Headspace’ which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Alternative & Hard Rock album charts upon release last May.
Also supporting A Day To Remember will be Sydney band Tonight Alive. These will be their first Australian shows since the release of their third album, Limitless, which was released in March and debuted at #6 on the ARIA Charts.
ADTR's Bad Vibrations will be available August 19 via ADTR/Epitaph Records.
