Get ready for a series of nerve-wracking performances as post-metal rockers, Neurosis, will be returning to Australian shores in February next year to decimate stages in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne off the back of their 11th studio album, Fires Within Fires.

2015 marked Neurosis' three-decade long career. From their beginnings as a hardcore punk outfit, the California natives have spent more than thirty years at the forefront of heavy music—their sound influencing big underground names like High On Fire, Yob and Mastodon. Now, the band is once again breaking new ground with the release of Fires Within Fires.

Fires Within Fires combines the elements from “each stage of Neurosis’ multifaceted career” while also charting new territory. The album is characterised by a staggering display of simmering tones and quiet, building power. It is a testament to the human condition—the suffering and sacrifice each of us is willing to go through, represented by crushing melodies, skyrocketing chords and the exploration of extremes.
