Rosie Waterland - My Life On The Couch Tour

Having just sold out a series of debut shows at Melbourne International Comedy Festival earlier this year, it's time to go rofl once again as Rosie Waterland takes her one-woman show My Life On The Couch (With Vodka) on the road this August.

The author-comedian will be spreading humour in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Rosie describes the show as “…a true mixed bag. From foster care to disaster Tinder dates. It’s about me pulling my life together before turning thirty”.

Dubbed as Australia’s answer to Lena Dunham, Rosie is an author, columnist, host, comedian and screenwriter. She rose to prominence in 2013, with her hilarious satirical recaps of the first season of The Bachelor Australia.

Her recaps across the three seasons have received more than 6.6 million unique clicks and had more than 450,000 Facebook shares. She is currently amping up to do it all over again for the show’s fourth season.

"The best TV writing since Clive James" – The Age

Rosie’s debut book The Anti-Cool Girl was a critically-acclaimed bestseller; shortlisted for an Indie Book Award and two Australian Book Industry Awards, and selling more than 45,000 copies within its first five months in stores.

"If Augusten Burroughs and Lena Dunham abandoned their child in an Australian housing estate, she’d write this heartbreaking, hilarious book. It made me laugh uproariously, then feel terrible for her, then laugh all over again. Sorry, Rosie." - Dominic Knight, The Chaser

"Hilarious, wise, gutsy, clear-eyed, devastating and uplifting. It’s a marvel." - Richard Glover

Rosie’s contemptuous humour has already gathered her a devout online following. Delving on topics like feminism, pop culture, body image and television among many more, she’s set to win over a new legion of loyals when she conquers the live stage this August.

Don’t miss one of Australia’s fastest-rising talents on her debut national tour. Tickets are sure to fly out the door!
