Santana - Transmogrify Tour

It will surely run guitar riffs this April as multi Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Carlos Santana, returns to Australia. The legendary guitar hero is set to hit the road on his Transmogrify Tour, kicking off in Adelaide, then to Perth, Melbourne and Sydney before the final show in Canberra.

Santana previously toured Australia in 2011, including a one-off show in the Hunter Valley with The Doobie Brothers, returning in 2013 for national shows with The Steve Miller Band. He now returns down under in support of the release of the wildly anticipated Santana IV record, featuring the original late-1960’s lineup reunited for the first time in 45 years.

Brimming with passion and soul equal to the legendary sonic charge of his guitar, Carlos Santana's music is one of the world's best-known musical signatures. For more than four decades—from Santana's earliest days as a ground-breaking Afro-Latin-blues-rock fusion outfit in San Francisco—Carlos has been the visionary force behind artistry that surpasses musical genres and tears up generational, cultural and geographical boundaries.

Joining Santana as Special Guests on the Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney dates are the mighty Doobie Brothers. Apart from these shows, Santana and the Doobie Brothers will also be appearing at the 28th Annual Bluesfest in Byron Bay.
