Twenty One Pilots - Emotional Roadshow World Tour
Still basking on the massive success of their Australian headline tour and performances at Groovin The Moo, Twenty One Pilots will be landing yet again Down Under, marking their biggest and first-ever arena shows in March 2017, for their Emotional Roadshow World Tour.
The American alt-pop duo have just wound up series of sold out Australian shows last week, thrilling fans in Perth, Brisbane and two nights at both Sydney’s UNSW Roundhouse and Melbourne’s Forum Theatre. Come March next year, they will be crashing arenas in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
“…with a live show like that you cannot dispute their authenticity.” - Music Feeds
"This is the live show that will cement their immortality.” - Blunt
“...this had been a truly amazing show.” - Scenezine
The band also served up last week their new single ‘Ride’, a follow up to the worldwide smash ‘Stressed Out’ which has reached Platinum sales locally and notched #2 spot on the ARIA chart. Both tracks hail from the 2015, ARIA #11 and US Billboard Top 200 #1 album, Blurryface (out now through Warner Music Australia).
Having just returned home from show stopping performances at Lolla South America in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, Twenty One Pilots have received a number of major awards nominations in recent weeks, snatching up four nods for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards: “Top Duo/Group,” “Top Rock Artist,” “Top Rock Album (for Blurryface),” and “Top Rock Song” (for ‘Stressed Out’). The 2016 Billboard Music Awards will be presented on May 22 in Las Vegas.
Blurryface made an impressive chart debut upon its release, dominating the SoundScan/Billboard 200 at #1 with whopping total sales exceeding 147,000. The album also catapulted the duo to international breakthrough, reaching top 20 in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Furthermore, Twenty One Pilots’ Tyler Joseph stands as the #1 songwriter in the first quarter of 2016 on the strength ‘Stressed Out,’ besting veteran writers with multiple hits to their name. Blurryface follows Twenty One Pilots’ 2013 Fueled By Ramen debut album, Vessel, certified gold by the RIAA and boasting a trio of gold certified hit singles in ‘Holding On To You,’ ‘Car Radio’ and ‘House of Gold’.
Grab you tickets and let Twenty One Pilots take you to the air with their performances.
