An Evening With Alanis Morissette

Australia, 'you oughta know' this:

Seven-time Grammy Award-winning alternative rock singer and songwriter Alanis Morissette is returning Down Under for two intimate shows in January 2018. Accompanied this time by an acoustic trio, she will be treating fans in Melbourne and Sydney to two nights of nostalgic music as she performs her greatest hits in a laid-back, intimate set up.

It's been almost 20 years since she whipped Australian stages with her fierce and emotive vocals. Alanis was last here on our shores in 1999 for her Junkie Tour in support of her fourth studio album 'Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie'. Rollingstone tagged her as the "Queen of alt-rock angst" and her comeback will absolutely be one of the music highlights of next year.

Enjoying mediocre success in the early 1990s, Alanis finally shot to global stardom with the release of her third studio album 'Jagged Little Pill' in 1995 via Maverick Records. It joins the roster of biggest-selling albums of all time, selling over 30 million copies worldwide. 'Jagged Little Pill' defined a generation and spawned the global anthems 'Ironic', 'You Oughta Know' and 'Hand In My Pocket'. The same album also earned her four wins at the 38th Grammy Awards including Best Rock Album and Album Of The Year and Best Rock Song and Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for the song 'You Oughta Know'.

There's no one like Alanis Morissette so grab your tickets fast and fall 'head over feet' in love with her again this 2018!
