Joey Bada$$ – All Amerikkkan Bada$$ Tour in Victoria

American rap protege Joey Bada$$ will be savouring the country’s most prestigious stages upon his visit in January next year. On top of his slot at Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain Festival, the 22-year old Brooklyn native will be performing in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne in the wake of his second studio album ‘All Amerikkkan Bada$$’ which was released last April.

The album is a hot serving of politically-charged tracks like “Devastated”, “Land Of The Free” and “Amerikkkan Idol”. It peaked at number five on the Billboard’s charts and is currently slaying the country’s airwaves. The accompanying tour will see Joey performing the songs off the album, live.

From a YouTube freestyler, Joey went on to become one of the prodigies of rap and hip hop. He formally gained entry into the scene as one of the founding members of the hip hop collective, Pro Era, along with his friend, the late Capital Steez. He later released his 2012 debut mixtape ‘1999’ which further stabilised his then growing career. Apart from his music projects, Joey also appears on TV, playing the role of “Leon” in the TV series, ‘Mr. Robot’.
