Marky Ramone – Blitzkrieg Over Australia Tour

Punk-rock legend Marky Ramone is bringing the beat in as he lands down under this November with his Blitzkrieg Over Australia Tour. He will be performing in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as well as in Frankston, Adelaide and Perth.

Being one of the last living members of the seminal American punk-rock band The Ramones, Marky will be reliving the band's glorious days by playing their catalogue of hits including 'Rockaway Beach', 'Pinhead', 'The KKK Took My Baby Away', 'I Wanna Be Sedated' and of course, 'Blitzkrieg Bop'.

Marky served as the drummer of The Ramones from 1978 to 1983. He temporarily left the group to settle personal issues and came back in 1987 and remained with the band until their disbandment in 1996. Throughtout their career, The Ramones have released several albums and tirelessly toured across the globe. In 2011, they were presented The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award with Marky, himself, accepting the award along with one of the original members, Tommy Ramone who passed away three years later.
