Neil deGrasse Tyson – A Cosmic Perspective

In between dropping diss tracks about flat earth theories and tweeting about the Trump administration's disastrous science and arts policies, world-renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson is now headed down under to share his cosmic perspectives with Australian audiences. He will be visiting Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney this July.

Following his 'An evening with Dr Neil deGrasse Tyson' tour last 2015 which left audiences wanting for more, Tyson returns to talk about the implications of A.I., the potential for another Space Race and the ethical implications of encountering alien life forms. He will also be touching on the role of scientific illiteracy and dogma of all stripes in the era of 'alternative facts'.

Each event will consist of a 40-minute conversation with a local host followed by an audience Q&A and a Meet and Greet session which will take place within the same venue.
