Taylor Swift – Reputation Stadium Tour
Hey Swifties, are you all “ready for it?”
Pop goddess Taylor Swift is bringing her ‘Reputation Tour’ to Australia in October to November next year. She will be rocking stadiums in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane before heading to Auckland with the hits from her latest airwaves-tearing, chart-topping album ‘Reputation’.
Coming out on 10th November as Tay Tay’s sixth studio album, 'Reputation' swiftly strengthened her reputation as one of pop’s biggest and most influential names with just weeks following its release. It features the singles “Look What You Made Me Do”, “End Game (feat. Ed Sheeran and Future)”, “Gorgeous”, “Ready For It” and “Call It What You Want” to name a few. The 'Reputation Tour' will see Taylor performing all these hits live and will definitely break internet bandwidth with the number of fans who will try to snap up tickets to the shows.
Taylor discovered her knack for singing and songwriting at such a young age. In the early 2000s, she’s already been performing in local festivals, playing guitar and writing songs. Her career took flight, however, in 2008 with the release of “Fearless”, her second studio album. She made the world, particularly the teenagers, fall in love with the songs “Love Story”, “You Belong With Me” and “Fifteen” which all revolved around the theme "young love". A decade after her breakthrough, the sweet-voiced Nashville-born songstress evolved into one of the roaring names in music—breaking records and bagging awards. So far, she boasts of 10 Grammy Awards, one Primetime Emmy Award, one MTV Video Music Award, 21 Billboard Music Awards and five Guiness World Record Awards to name a few.
Joining Taylor Swift on all Australian and New Zealand dates as special guests will be NZ indie-pop duo, Broods and internationally acclaimed pop sensation, Charli XCX. Siblings Georgia and Caleb Nott of Broods dropped their single 'Peach' last August. It is the first single to be lifted from their third album expected to be released next year. Charli XCX, on the other hand, has been shaking the pop music scene with hits like 'Boom Clap', 'Break The Rules' and 'After The Afterparty'. The Grammy nominated artists has also done collabs with Icona Pop (I Love It), Iggy Azalea (Fancy) and David Guetta (Dirty Sex Money).
Make sure you get your name on Taylor Swift's list of ticket buyers or you'll see it in red, underlined!
