Richard Marx Headline Shows

You need not be right there waiting because the multi-talented US singer-songwriter and performer Richard Marx is heading back down under for a slew of headline dates. He will be performing his rock-tinged ballads in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Melbourne this November and December. Apart from these headline shows, Marx is also among John Farnham's guests on his A Day On The Green shows.

With 11 glorious albums, 30 million record sales worldwide and five Grammy nominations under his belt, Marx is no doubt an icon in the pop rock and contemporary music scene. Hit singles from 1987’s self-titled debut ‘Don’t Mean Nothing’, ‘Should’ve Known Better’, ‘Endless Summer’ and ‘Hold On To The Nights’ began Marx’s renowned achievement for being the first among solo artists to have their first seven singles in the top five of the Billboard 100.

Marx’s unwavering talent has led him to a string of triumphs through classics ‘Right Here Waiting’ and ‘Hazard’—both of which topped the charts in Australia. With a massive following in Australia, Marx has enjoyed eight Top 40 Hits along with other smash tracks such as the hauntingly beautiful ‘Now and Forever’, ‘Angelia’, ‘Take This Heart’ and ‘Satisfied’.

A writer, composer and producer, Marx’s calibre has led him to collaborate with various artists such as NSYNC (‘This I Promise You’), Barbra Streisand and Vince Gill (‘If You Ever Leave Me’) and Keith Urban who performed ‘Long Hot Summer’, Marx’s 14th and latest chart-topper. He also worked alongside the late Luther Vandross on the multiple Grammy Award-winning ‘Dance With My Father’. He recently released his own version of the song last June.

Grab your tickets and celebrate Richard Marx's three decades of heartfelt music with none other than the man himself!
