British India – East Coast Tour 2019

Following a year of hiatus, British India are bouncing back to the touring scene and will return on the road this October and November for a slew of east coast shows. They will be performing in Albury, Adelaide, Sydney, Narrabeen, the Gold Coast, Belgrave, Melbourne, Hobart and Forth. Apart from these headline shows, the band will also be killing their sets at Stonefest in Canberra, B.I.G. Festival in Geelong and Scene & Heard Festival in Newcastle.

That's not all—band members Declan Melia (vocals and guitar), Will Drummond (bass), and Matt O'Gorman (drums) have also welcomed their new guitarist, Jack Tosi. Matt was on the hunt for a guitarist, and Jack, who was an old school friend of the group, was looking to play once again—it seemed a perfect opportunity. A jam session was arranged, and by the session's end, Jack was in the band and is ready to rock for the upcoming run of shows.

The tour will see the band performing tracks from their entire discography, particularly boasting those from their bulging back catalogue of Australian live favourites. These include Hottest 100 dominating tracks like 'Vanilla', 'I Can Make You Love Me' and 'Suddenly'.

Over the course of their amazing career, British India have earned four Top 10 ARIA albums, eight entries into the Hottest 100 and their classic single 'I Can Make You Love Me' reached Gold status in Australia. Their latest album, Forgetting The Future, garnered high praises for its innovative direction and palpable energy, with singles 'My Love' and 'Precious' both being added to high rotation on both Triple M and triple j radio.

Be sure to catch the legendary British India rocking a stage near you this spring!
