Dweezil Zappa – Hot Rats Live – 50th Anniversary Tour

Music continues to run in the blood of American rock guitarist and Frank Zappa's son, Dweezil Zappa. He celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of his father's 'Hot Rats' album with a tour, including concerts in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth next year April.

The 'Hot Rats' album played a pivotal role in establishing Frank Zappa as a composer and guitarist and was also dedicated to the then newborn Dweezil upon its release in 1969. The AU leg will see the younger Zappa play the album in its entirety, plus an assortment of other psychedelic, avant-garde odd metered musical marvels, well-known to Zappa aficionados and equally exciting for new generations of fans.

Talking about the tour, Dweezil said, "this is the best version of the band I have ever had. The musicians are able to tackle the hardest instrumental passages and cover a limitless range of vocals."
