George Thorogood & the Destroyers – Good to Be Bad Tour

After winding up more than 20 North American dates, American musician George Thorogood and his band, The Destroyers, are now bringing their 'Good to Be Bad' tour down under next year January. They'll be cheering up crowds in Melbourne and Sydney, playing some of the most iconic blues songs ever written.

Since 1975, George and his band have sold over 15 million albums, released 16 studio albums, built a classic catalogue of hits—including six gold and two platinum records—and played more than 8,000 ferocious live shows. They broke records with their '50 Dates/50 States' tour, rendered landmark performances at 'Live Aid' and on 'SNL', and became mainstays of radio, MTV and stages worldwide for more than two generations. Through it all, they've remained one of pop culture history's most consistent and passionate blues rock practitioners.

Also having a formidable solo career, George Thorogood released his first-ever solo album, Party Of One, in 2017. It landed in the Top 10 on Soundscan's 'Top Current Blues Albums' chart, marking his fastest-selling album in nearly two decades. The album features 14 cuts of traditional blues, classics and modern blues songs like Lee Hooker's 'One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer' and  Hank Williams' 'Pictures from Life's Other Side'.

Grab your tickets and witness how good George Thorogood & the Destroyers are, live next year!
