Newton Faulkner: The Very Best of Newton Faulkner World Tour in Victoria
After delivering standout sets at last year's Bluesfest along with some national headline dates, UK singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner is heading his way back to Australia in November as part of his 'The Very Best of Newton Faulkner' world tour. He'll be performing in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne on top if his appearance at Queenscliff Music Festival. Following the AU dates, he will make his equally anticipated return to New Zealand, playing an exclusive show in Auckland.
Since the breakout success of the multi-instrumentalist's 2007 double-platinum debut 'Hand Built By Robots' featuring viral hit 'Dream Catch Me', Newton has sold over of 1.5 million records across the globe with 180 million streams. This feat makes him one of this millennium's most successful UK singer-songwriters.
Earlier this year, he has released a 31-track album called 'The Very Best of Newton Faulkner… So Far', a record that displays his storied career and features brand new tracks 'Don't Leave Me Waiting' and 'Take What You Want' plus all the favourites from his last six albums, and a selection of the incredible covers he has become known for which are also mainstays of his playful live set like Lady Gaga's 'Million Reasons', Blackstreet's 'No Diggity' & Massive Attack's 'Teardrop'.
Apart from bringing his warm, feel-good vibes to the stage, Newton will also treat audiences to his intricate guitar-work and rhythmic mastery. Newton is world renowned for his acoustic performances which see him solo on stage with samplers and stomp boxes at his feet.
"Faulkner is an absolute guitar ace, whose pretty harmonics and folky runs are more what you'd expect from someone twice his age." - The Guardian
"Fantastic live performer, who unfailingly wins over audiences through his good humour and excellent musicality." - Exepose
The multi-talented performer has also delighted in rock musicals such as award-winning 'American Idiot' and the legendary Jeff Wayne's UK Arena tour of 'The War of the World'. He has also penned songs and produced for film including 2018's 'Terminal' (starring Margot Robbie), and collaborated with the likes of Mumford & Sons.
Tickets are limited for these intimate shows so make sure you grab yours quick if you want to hear Newton Faulkner performing his very best hits, live this November!
