Soweto Gospel Choir: Freedom

Experience the liberating power of music and celebrate freedom with Soweto Gospel Choir's Australian tour this July through to September. The massive tour is in support of the group's latest and Grammy Award-winning album 'Freedom' which features a collection of songs that celebrate the life of the father of their Rainbow Nation, Nelson Mandela, and commemorate South Africa's democratic movement's struggle for freedom.

Hailing from Soweto (South West Township), a town outside of Johannesburg, Soweto Gospel Choir continues to inspire audiences across the globe with their powerful blend of African gospel, freedom songs, and international classics. Boasting a line-up of South Africa's best vocalists, these uplifting performers have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music including U2, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Robert Plant, Celine Dion, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Josh Groban.
