1889 Enoteca

The heritage listed Moreton Rubber Works building (circa 1889) is located in the antique quarter of Woolloongabba. Only minutes from the CBD, nestled amoungst the antique shops and restaurants that line this little pocket the building oozes a character which is rare to find in Brisbane. They knew at once that it was the perfect fit for 1889 Enoteca.

Like many of the classic enoteche in Italy, They've incorporated a restaurant, wine bar, a basement level cellar for private dining and a small wine store. They serve modern Roman cuisine that is made to be enjoyed with the wine from their extensive wine list. There are many unique, rare, artisan producers on our list with a strong focus on natural wines and they offer many of these by the glass.
