50MarketPlace is a newly completed Shopping Centre built by Brisbane Land Marketing Pty Ltd. It is situated in the south-western part of the City of Logan, approximately 25 kilometres south of the Brisbane CBD. Logan is one of the fastest growing cities in Queensland with a population of 300,000, 6.4% of Queensland. The population is expected to increase by up to 200,000 within the next 20 years.

50MarketPlace has approximately 1200m2 square metres of retail floor space. It is essentially linear shaped with all the properties facing Chambers Flat Road and a large car park at the front. It has provision for a number of shops on the ground level and a 24hr Fitness Gym is the dominant use on the first level. The centre is in a strategic location, being on Chambers Flat Road and close to the intersection of Kingston Road. Retailing is the predominant business activity in the area. The catchment area of the centre covers thousands of households as Chambers Flat Road is a main artery for commuters from Jimboomba and Park Ridge travelling to Brisbane. Approximately 70% of workers in the area use a car to travel to work, a statistic which has been rising over the last 10 years.
