Allan Border Field is the home of Queensland Cricket, located at 1 Greg Chappell Street, Albion. The Field is named after one of Queensland and Australia’s greatest ever cricketers, Allan Border (AB). A veteran of 156 Test matches and over 11,000 runs, AB took over the Australian captaincy during the 1984–85 season, going on to lead his country to many famous victories including the 1987 World Cup and 1989 Ashes series. - Queensland Cricket
