The Athelstane Bowls Club premises are now leased and operated by the Rotary Club of Rockhampton South which meets there most Thursday nights at 6:00pm. While there are no regular bowls fixtures any more, the club house and greens are available for hire by individuals or community groups wishing to run functions there for up to 80 people. Facilities include greens for bare foot bowls, BBQ, function centre with bar and industrial kitchen. Community groups wishing to use these facilities to run fundraising activities are particularly welcome. - BowlsClub.org
