Avoca Shire Turf Club

The Avoca Shire Turf Club (ASTC) is located less than two hours from Melbourne in Avoca, Victoria - a vibrant rural town located in the heart of the Pyrenees. This magnificent and untouched region is well known for its wineries, art galleries, agriculture, the Pyrenees ranges and the biggest events in the region, the Avoca Races. The club has been operating for over 150 years providing a long and rich history. The ASTC races on Caulfield Cup Day, the first Saturday in December and ANZAC Day.

All of Avoca's race meetings are great fun and are well recognised as being leading events within the industry. Exhibiting country character that everyone has grown to love, Avoca has some of the best facilities among country racetracks in Victoria, also holding many non raceday functions.
