Bridge Hotel

From a jilted bride, fires, flood, and a murder or two, the Bridge Hotel at Forth has seen it all. Built in 1872 in the township of Hamilton-on-Forth (now simply called Forth), and situated on the banks of the Forth River, the historic building hasn't changed much aside from a lounge area being built in the early 70s.

It’s full of history, some say it’s haunted and it’s believed to be the longest continually running establishment in Tasmania with over 33 publicans so far! Forth Pub retains plenty of pre-federation charm, with rustic decor, hearty home-style meals, cold beer, good old fashioned service, loads of entertainment, live music and still not a pokie in sight.
