Back in ‘95 at the bottom of the world on a crazy, beautiful, pristinely un-spoiled tough little island, two in fact, North and South Island, (took a while to come up with those names) called New Zealand we felt it was time to give the dirty old Burger an old fashioned Kiwi makeover, and start moving the world’s favourite “food vice” to the healthier side of life.

Not to mention giving those big old multi-national boys a bit of a shake-up. What emerged from months of testing, measuring, stealing ingredients and eating thousands of prototypes was the BurgerFuel Burger. A burger that, while juicy, succulent and tasty (all the stuff we love about burgers), has real NZ made ingredients incorporated into its DNA, made and assembled by a crew with a dogged determination to keep on sourcing better, healthier, whole food and organic products whilst wrapping and presenting them in packaging that is sustainable and good for the planet … all colliding to “Engineer the Ultimate Burger”.
