Careen Dance Studios have been part of the Ringwood community since 1986 and Lilydale since 1997.
Classes are taught in Jazz, Tap, Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Cheerleading & Acrobatics (Lilydale only).
The main objective of all dance teachers at Careen is to develop a love of dance, help build self-esteem and confidence in all students.
It teaches all different levels of students from dance as a hobby to performance troupes, hip hop crew to students who wish to go onto full time dance and pursue a career.
Many students have been accepted to full time courses such Robert Sturrock Industry Dance Company, Ministry of Dance, Patrick Studios, Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre at Ballarat University and have gone onto professional work or teaching at different dance studios.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in exams under the State Dance Association (SDA) syllabus. They may even wish to undertake their teachers diploma.
