What once was the disused riverbank behind Ballina main street is now a fantastic riverside park with something for everyone.
It was only a few years ago that you could find an easy park on the riverbank behind Ballina's Main street. Now it has become a little harder since Fawcett Park now attracts a lot more people than a parking lot ever did. My kids have even renamed it Pelican park as they love the large statues that line the boardwalk.
