Ferntree Gully North Primary School

Ferntree Gully North Primary School, in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, is located directly at the base of the Dandenong Ranges. Over the past four years the school has steadily increased in enrolment numbers, driven mainly by an increase in Preps. In 2013, it had student enrolments of 339 with anticipated further growth in 2014 to approximately 360 students. The school had 15 grades with 15 full time teachers, 2 non-teaching Principal class, 9 part time teaching staff and 12 Education Support Staff.

In 2013, it had funding confirmed by the State Government to enable a whole school rebuild to commence. The project was confirmed in May as a $4.5 million project and began in August after extensive consultation with Brand Architects who will manage the project on its behalf.
