The Foster War Memorial Arts Centre (Foster Hall) was erected by the citizens of Foster and District as a memorial to those who died serving their country in war.
It was opened by His Excellency the Governor of Victoria Major-General Sir Rohan Delacombe K.C.M.G., K.B.E., C.B., D.S.O., K.St.J and dedicated by Brigadier W. H. Hall, C.B.E., D.S.O. E.D. on November 12th 1966.
The hall committee manages the centre on behalf of the South Gippsland Shire and takes bookings, maintains the property, replaces equipment and manages the budget and correspondence.
