Gainsborough State School

Gainsborough State School is located on the corner of Yawalpah Road and Gawthern Drive, Pimpama and opened in January 2021.

Our school is committed to forming a partnership with our families to provide an environment where your child achieves great results in academic, sporting or cultural pursuits while also making meaningful friendships with other children and staff of our school.

Our school motto is: Work Hard – Be Kind

It underpins everything we do at Gainsborough State School. With our support, students will have a deep understanding that working hard in everything they do gives them opportunities to be successful in a multitude of areas at Gainsborough State School and beyond.

This can be in academic, sporting, musical or cultural pursuits.

By being kind, we are building the culture of a school that cares for all and supports each other.

Gainsborough State School is expected to ultimately cater for up to 1,200 students. Our facilities include an Executive Services Building, Junior and Senior Precincts, Multi-purpose Hall, Resource Centre, specialist STEAM Centre as well as Oval and Multi-Purpose Outdoor Courts.
