Gramercy

Gramercy is a New York inspired bistro paying homage to some of the city’s greatest hotels and the classic dishes and cocktails that have originated in many of these institutions. It is open every day of the year from 6:30am till late offering everything from breakfast, lunch and dinner, through late night drinks and a bite to eat including bar nibbles and cocktail specials. Gramercy will also be available for functions.

Situated at The Cullen hotel on Commercial Road it is a stones throw from the Prahran Market, and the iconic Chapel and Greville Streets. The Cullen is part of the Art Series Hotel Group that promises a unique art inspired experience for guests. The Cullen was voted Trendiest Hotel in Australia in 2011 by Trip Advisor. The Cullen, The Olsen and The Blackman are the first in a series of art hotels around Australia, to be followed by The Watson in Adelaide in 2014.

The decor is classic cool white tiled walls, light wooden bench tops, black finishes and splashes of deep red throughout inspired by other New York stalwarts the Standard Hotel and The Fat Radish. In keeping with the Art Series Hotel’s philosophy, the restaurant features a rotating collection of art work from the nearby Metro Gallery featuring some of Australia’s most exciting up and coming artists.
