Guildford Village Potters Gallery

Guildford Village Potters Club was started in 1981 as a co-operative gallery.

The Club has 22 members making pottery in a wide variety of styles and prices, from the magic of Raku through fine tableware to sculptural pieces and wall hangings. All Club members share equally in running the Gallery so that new work is displayed almost daily.

As friendly and enthusiastic ceramic artists, members are always keen to discuss their work and promote their craft and can demonstrate the making of wheelthrown pottery while talking to tourists and local customers about the craft. The gallery accepts commissions for quality handmade, individually-designed pieces.

Adult classes are held, as well as workshops with well-known artists, some from overseas. We invite local groups to join us to experience new ideas and new glaze techniques. Children's classes are held during the holidays and are very popular.
