Jackadder’s Music Club was named after a nearby lake in Woodlands. It is around 8 klms north of the Perth CBD. Jackadder’s is part of the West Australian Folk Federation. Carmel Charlton and husband Eric Hancock have been running the club since its inception in 2003. There is a great variety of both professional and amateur performers taking part and often young upcoming performers are included in the afternoon’s line-up.
It is a great opportunity for like-minded musicians to network, build friendships and share their love of music. There is a great mix of music performed and includes Folk, Blues, Country, Jazz, Gospel, Old Timey, Celtic, Traditional and Contemporary.
