Jazz City Milk Bar

Jazz City Milk Bar has always been a dream of Chef Dan McGuirt, with intentions of opening a American dessert focused restaurant. The dream came true with the when a restaurant space became available at the Republic 2 building courtyard on Palmer Street in Darlinghurst. Conviently located just around the corner from Jazz City Diner, the Milk Bar opened its doors in December of 2012. "It was obvious from the beginning that we could not soley have desserts on our menu.", says Chef Dan McGuirt. "We knew that we had to offer savory menu options to our customers, especially with the area being a dinner destination. We started off with hot dogs, then moved to our famous burgers that we sell at Jazz City Diner.
