Lathlain Park
Lathlain Park (officially known as Mineral Resources Park) is the home ground of WAFL side Perth Demons. The venue first opened in 1962 and today contains a main grandstand, two undercover areas and a grass hill surrounding the playing arena. While mainly hosting Australian Football, it has also hosted Rugby League, with the most recent game in 1999 when the Melbourne Storm defeated the Western Suburbs Magpies in front of a crowd of 8,236.
The venue has had three commercial naming rights sponsors. Firstly it was known as Eftel Oval from 2003 then Brownes Stadium in 2011, and now Mineral Resources Park as of 2019. New training and administration facilities for the West Coast Eagles were completed in 2019. This reduces the capacity to around 10,000. - AUStadiums
