Lift Art Gallery

Lift offers a place of elevated consciousness. A place to experience art and sound that enhances and enlivens our daily experience. That gives a lift! Lift will be home to Australia's largest collection of spiritual and energy art. This is art created with the intention of healing and uplifting. Local, national and international artists feature in the gallery.

The main gallery area of Lift hosts a discovery centre exploring sound and light. Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks and a host of other sound artifacts are available to try. Colour and light therapies also play an important part in Lift’s educational focus.

An mp3 player is available when entering Lift. A menu card shows the listener how to track up explanations of what sound therapy is all about; samples of sound therapy modalities at work (such as harp therapy and harmonic overtone singing); or to listen to music that compliments specific visual artwork on the walls.

Practitioner rooms are located behind the main gallery. Local therapists, who offer a myriad of healing modalities, are available for consultations. SoundSpa from Montville has moved into this area and continue to offer sound baths (harp and voice).

Lift is already a well known concert space. The successful ‘Music with ‘Art’ series currently runs monthly in the gallery. The venue also has two large workshop and seminar areas.

Feel the shift, experience a lift. Situated between Maleny and Montville, Lift is also a hub for sound and light and other holistic therapies on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Sound therapies include sound baths, sound table, cyma-spa, harp therapy and sound Reiki. These modalities are all based on the theory of vibrational therapy. This theory is founded on the premise that all particles and bodies (including human bodies) vibrate at a certain frequency. Some therapies aim at enhancing the vibration of an individual (and we all are quite different). Others focus on collapsing the energy of particles causing illness such as cancers, viruses and bacteria.

Lift is a sacred space focused on raising human consciousness. The gallery has a regular schedule of concerts, workshops and seminars featuring artists and presenters dedicated to the enhancement of our collective consciousness.
