Mackay Aero Club

The Mackay Aero Club is a group of people passionate about aviation, whether they be aircraft owners, pilots, crew, plane spotters, maintenance personnel or just a general interest in flying.
Not only for aviation enthusiasts, The Mackay Aero Club is focussed on being an affordable option to all for drinks, dinner and venue hire.

Open Tuesday & Friday night for drinks from 4pm and Friday night for dinner from 6pm for an affordable meal in a friendly and laid back atmosphere over looking the ranges. Kid friendly with purpose built children's activity room.

Monthly Flying Competitions are held at Palmyra Airfield where all are welcome and you may even find yourself lucky enough to score a spare seat in an aircraft to join in the fun. Flyaways are also held monthly, generally somewhere for breakfast or lunch, again there are often spare seats available to tag along.
