Marconi Stadium is home to former-NSL and current NSW Premier League club Marconi Stallions. The all-seater stadium has a main grandstand on one side of the ground with another stand which backs onto the social club behind the goals. A small stand is situated behind the other goals as well as a larger stand on the broadcast side. The total capacity of the ground is almost 12,000, although it used to be around the 15,000 mark when it wasn't an all-seater.
Soccer is the main sport played at the ground, but other sports have been played on the odd occasion such as a Rugby Sevens match in 1996 between Italy and Lebanon.
The stadium was built along with the foundations of the club and has accordingly grown with it since 1960. The latest improvements include a 3000 seat grandstand, additional canteen and toilet facilities, grandstand extension and an upgraded sound system in 1998. - AU Stadiums
