Prospect Memorial Gardens is located adacent Prospect Oval, on Menzies Crescent near Willcox Avenue and Flora Terrace, Prospect. The Memorial Gardens was opened officially in 1936 by the Governor Sir Winston Dugan, dedicating it to the memory of Prospect residents who had served during World War 1 (Prospect Local History Group, Parks in Prospect, 2014).
