The Hall with its long history of community involvement continues to create a sense of place for the Dunsborough community. It was opened in January 1957 by Sir Stewart Bovell and with additional refurbishment provides a wide range of community uses. Acquisition of the Catholic Church on Gibney Street by the Dunsborough Art Society in 1991 and its relocation to the Hall has secured its place in Old Dunsborough History. It is a well-utilised community asset and is well-loved by all who know it.
